People look in the mirror on a daily basis and see something they would like to change about themselves. It is human nature to want to continually improve on what nature has bestowed on us. In addition, more and more people are finding that the changes they seek can be carried out with no surgical risk and minimal down time.

Anyone considering aesthetic services should be comfortable with the doctor(s) they choose and feel that the time spent in their consultation was thorough and informative.

The Process

In order to begin your transformation, you must take the first step. Contact us to make an appointment for the consultation. The goal of the  cosmetic consultation at Pura Vida  is primarily to educate the patient about the treatment options available for the areas of concern. We understand more than anyone that a consultation can be seen as an intimidating or daunting experience. Because of this, we take special care to ensure that our patients feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible in a professional, yet friendly atmosphere.

A consultation at Pura Vida generally takes 30 - 45 minutes. Upon arrival, you will check in with our concierge, and fill out all necessary paperwork. This will include a brief health history, giving our physicians the information they need to determine that you are a good candidate for our services.
 
THE PATIENT CARE CONSULTANT 

Next, you will be introduced to our patient care coordinator, Vickie Holder.  She is experienced in beauty, image and aesthetic services.  Vickie will personally take you through the consultation process.  The consultation will begin with  a Visia™ complexion analysis, which will provide an in-depth analysis of your individual facial characteristics.  This state of the art tool will assist us in designing rejuvenation and skin care programs for the client's specific complexion.  Vickie is available to answer all your questions, will discuss your image enhancement goals.   You will then be introduced to the physicians.

THE DOCTORS

You will meet your doctor(s) in a private, comfortable consultation room where you will spend time communicating your specific desires and wishes. The doctor will examine you and give you her  advice on how to best achieve the results that you desire.

AFTERWARD

After meeting with your doctor, our patient care consultant will discuss cost with you. Vickie will ensure that all your questions and concerns are answered and will also provide information regarding available financing.
