Photo Rejuvenation
Photo Rejuvenation is a cosmetic treatment designed to treat the visible signs of sun damage, brown spots, Rosacea, broken capillaries and age spots. Over time, our skin begins to show the signs of aging. By using this Broad Band Light (BBL) technology, Photo Rejuvenation can help to create younger looking skin. A pulsating broad beam of highly concentrated light is directed to the specific area being treated. This light selectively targets the desired area and will not cause damage to the surrounding skin. Photo Rejuvenation is the only procedure that can treat vascular redness, the appearance of rosacea, brown spots, and sun damage.
How does Photo Rejuvenation Work?
By using this Broad Band Light (BBL) technology, Photo Rejuvenation can help to create clearer, smoother skin. A pulsating broad beam of highly concentrated light is directed to the specific area being treated. This light selectively targets the desired area and will not cause damage to the surrounding skin. BBL is safe and effective.
What is a Photo Rejuvenation treatment like?
Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed. You will have to wear protective eyewear. The technician will apply a cool gel to the area being treated. During the treatment you may notice a warming sensation or a slight snapping feeling. After a treatment, the area may be pink or red; this will fade. You may resume normal activities immediately.
How many treatment sessions are needed?
Many patients notice a difference after a single treatment. To reap the full benefits of Photo Rejuvenation, three to four treatments may be needed. You can discuss with your technician how many treatments will be needed.
Are there any risks?
Photo Rejuvenation is a safe and effective treatment option. Any side effects are mild and temporary. These may include redness, bruising, or temporary darkening of brown spots.
